Activities
Residents have the opportunity to continue their very active lives as they choose. Activities and events are an integral part of daily living at the Assisted Living Lodge. Our activity coordinator is energetic, creative, patient and kind. She is committed, as are all staff, to providing activity choices reflective of each person's personal style or preferences. We are blessed with wonderful community volunteers who bring their talents to our community.
While some activates are spur of the moment car rides or shopping expeditions most activities are pre-planned and on our monthly calendar. We offer a variety of options for individuals with diverse interests. Exercise classes, card club, swimming exercise (known as the May Creek Swim Team), bingo, music, and Wii bowling or golf are just a few examples. Activities such as our Men's Club are designed for the interests and sharing of experiences desired by our men. One of the favorite events both for residents, friends and family is our Friday Morning Carmel Rolls and Coffee. Some coffee times are for visiting and others to watch a travel presentation by community volunteers.
May Creek Senior Living Campus is committed to supporting the residents' ongoing purposeful activity in their local churches, community center and businesses. Our residents take the bus to various area restaurants, participated as a team in the Relay for Life, go fishing on area lakes and take a night off to go the theater. We believe in supporting our resident to remain as active in their community as they desire.
A monthly activity calendar is provided to residents, family members and guests. To view our calendar click on the News and Activity Calendar link at the top of this page.
